Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026

This policy explains what the Law Office of Joshua J. Goldstein, P.C. collects through this website and what we do with it. It covers the website only. Information you provide once we represent you is governed by our professional obligations of confidentiality, which are considerably stricter than this policy.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you complete the contact form, we receive your name, email address, any telephone number you provide, and whatever you write in the message field.

Information collected automatically. Our website host records standard technical data, including IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring site. We use this only to understand how the site performs.

What we do with it

We use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry and, where appropriate, to evaluate whether the firm can assist you and whether a conflict exists. We use technical data to maintain and improve the site. We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do not use it to send you marketing.

Who else touches it

Our website is hosted by Squarespace, and form submissions are delivered to firm email hosted by Google. Both process this data as service providers, on our instructions, under their own security obligations. We do not otherwise disclose information from this website except where required by law.

Confidentiality warning

Do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form. Email and web forms are not secure channels, and information sent before an attorney-client relationship exists may not be privileged.

Retention

We keep contact form submissions as long as needed to respond and to maintain conflict-checking records. Where an inquiry becomes a representation, the file is retained under the firm’s records retention practice.

Your choices

Write to info@privateclientlawoffice.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will comply unless we are required to retain it.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies its host requires to function. It does not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

We will post any revision here and update the effective date.
